This community contribution is available completely free of charge for all Phoca Cart users.
What is Shipmondo?
Shipmondo is a popular logistics platform that enables merchants to manage shipping across multiple carriers from a single dashboard. Whether you ship locally or internationally, Shipmondo connects your webshop to leading logistics providers such as PostNord, GLS, DHL, UPS, Bring, DSV Parcel, Danske Fragtmænd, and many others.
With this new plugin, Phoca Cart store owners can seamlessly bridge their store operations with Shipmondo order management and delivery checkout.
Key Features and Capabilities
The plugin offers a complete set of features designed to simplify both the customer checkout experience and back office store administration.
1. Delivery Checkout with Service Point Selector
For shipping methods that rely on pickup points, the plugin provides a smooth checkout workflow:
- Automatic service point lookup: Nearby service points are fetched automatically using the customer shipping address, eliminating manual search steps in standard orders.
- Manual location search: Customers can search for alternative pickup locations if they prefer delivery near another address.
- Two visual display modes: Choose between a compact inline Dropdown list or an interactive Modal window featuring map integration and full location details.
- Automatic selection sync: Selecting a pickup point automatically selects the corresponding shipping option radio button, preventing incomplete checkout submissions.
- Seamless guest and user support: Works flawlessly for both guest visitors and registered users.
2. Standard Home Delivery Support
The plugin is not limited to service points. You can configure any standard shipping method as home delivery:
- Assign standard carriers from a built in list or manually enter custom Shipmondo carrier codes.
- Optional shipment template mapping: Specify exact Shipment Template IDs to ensure the correct carrier services and default parameters are applied in Shipmondo.
- Uniform workflow: All shipping methods benefit from the same admin integration regardless of whether they deliver to a pickup point or directly to a customer home address.
3. One Click Sales Order Push to Shipmondo
Managing order fulfillment becomes significantly faster with built in order pushing:
- Action buttons in admin: Trigger the Send to Shipmondo command directly from the order list table or inside the single order edit screen.
- Complete order payload: The plugin builds a full sales order payload containing customer billing address, shipping details, ordered items, and payment totals.
- Real product weight summation: An optional toggle enables calculating total order weight from real product weight attributes rather than relying solely on template defaults.
- Safeguards against duplicates: Built in confirmation prompts prevent accidental double submissions of already pushed orders.
4. Sandbox and Production Support
Store administrators can toggle between the Shipmondo testing sandbox and live production environment with a single configuration setting. This makes setup, testing, and go live transitions painless.
5. Multilingual Support
The plugin includes translation packages for English, Swedish, and Serbian (Latin), making it ready for international deployment out of the box.
