Phoca Cart 5: Key New Features and Enhancements for E-Commerce
Phoca Cart 5 is a Joomla 5 extension and will not work properly on Joomla 4. Phoca extensions version 5 usually work on Joomla 4, but Phoca Cart is an exception because it uses the new modern features of Joomla 5, therefore it works on Joomla 5 only.

If you have already tested Phoca Cart 5.0.0 Beta or RC, you need to check the database when updating this version (only if you update from a development version). There is no automatic update of database tables or columns between different development versions - changes can be seen in the file: administrator/components/com_phocacart/update/sql/mysql/5.0.0.sql.
