Import list of files/downloads into Phoca Download?

Hello,

I have a repository with over 5.000 files that I need to put into Phoca Download . All files are neatly organised into folder and present on the website. I also have a spreadsheet with all filenames and locations listed. How can I import this list into Phoca Download so that I can create a working repository? I tried importing the spreadsheet into the jos_phocadownload table, but the component then lists the files Ok but all links generated are not working. Has anyone tried this before? can anyone suggest a working solution for such an import?

My site is J1.6.3 and runs Phoca Download 2.0.0 RC2. I can revert back to J1.5 if needed.

Hi, for now I don't know any such importing code. While importing the id of category etc. which is stored in other table must be followed

Hello Jan, thank you for your reply.

Could you explain what other table(s) are involved an what to put in which table? I can then try to directly put data into the database. I have the files put in already, that was the biggest task I guess...

See the install.sql.bak (1.6) and install.bak file (1.5) to see the structure and columns in the Phoca Download tables.
