Last upload - Module

A lot of time I am looking for a simple module that shows just what last uploaded is. No matter where.
This module can be the same design as usual stats module. Just perform a simple function to display the most recently uploaded 10 or N number of things. Could someone make these, or tell me how I could presents things last uploaded without manually enter them every day?
