Creating New Category redirects to admin main page joomla

same with me, new joomla install, latest phoca. database table there yet cant save or apply any menu items for phoca gallery.

can save apply any other menu item but not phoca as oit rediverts me to Menu Manager -- /administrator/index.php

cant even create a manu item??

Hi, did you enabled all the settings to get some more info:

- debug mode
- php error reporting

Did you see the errorLog?

I have a similar problem:
when i go to the multiple add page and try to navigate to the desired folder for uploading new images (folder exists), i get kicked out each time and i have to log in again. sometimes on the first click sometimes on the 3rd subfolder

same for single add images (when choosing the folder where to upload a new image to).

I have no idea what caused this sudden behavior, nor if it is even a pg issue or an Joomla! issue, but if you can think of anything, please advise me!

fyi: yesterday, I did an upgrade of Joomla! (1.5.18 to 1.5.20), Phoca Gallery (to the newest 2.7. from 2.6.x) and some other component. But immediately after the updates, I uploaded 40 images without problems ?!

I can't turn on error reporting for the moment.

I just updated my Java-Plugin (for firefox) and it now works... well, at first it displayed a message 'java 1.5 or higher required' in the place of the java-uploader-applet, but after a reload it works. its strange, because it was a minor upgrade from 1.6.0x to 1.6.0_21 and i don't know how this could have any influence on my previously posted problem

anyway, maybe it helps someone else,
