Is Numerly affiliated with any lottery?
No. Numerly is not a lottery operator, does not sell tickets, does not process payments, and has no relationship with any lottery, sportsbook, or draw of any kind, anywhere.
Do you store the numbers I type in?
No. The numbers you enter exist only for the moment it takes to calculate your set, then they're discarded. They are never written to a database, a log file, or anywhere else - see our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How does the calculation actually work?
Your numbers are combined with the exact moment you hit generate and run through a one-way cryptographic calculation on our server. We don't publish the exact method - partly so it can't be reverse-engineered, and partly because the method isn't really the point. The important part is that it only ever runs on our server, never in your browser.
Can I get the same set twice?
Extremely unlikely. Because the calculation includes the precise timestamp of your request (down to the microsecond), typing the same numbers again a moment later produces a different result.
Why do I need to save a link to vote later?
We ask two simple questions - whether your numbers felt lucky, and whether numerology works for you - but we don't ask them the moment you generate a set, since you can't know that yet. Instead, we give you a private link. If you come back and use it, you can answer both questions. Nobody else can vote using your result, because the link contains a private key that only you have.
Are the votes public?
Only as an aggregate - a running total like "62% say yes, based on 4,300 votes." We never publish or share who voted what.
Is Numerly free?
Yes. Numerly is supported by advertising, not by selling anything related to lotteries or gambling.
