installation failed

Post by werner puchta »

Hello everybody,

since my new installation (2.2.4 to 2.7.1.) failed, I tried to use a backup, but now my pagew doesn´t work correctly. I will get the following information, when I click on a category link in my tree_module:
“ NACHRICHT PHOCAGALLERY_CATEGORY_IS_UNAUTHORIZED “
The frontend rests unvaried by clicking on a link,
but in the backend/rootfolder there are all details (cats, subcats, pics).
Is there a chance to recover the problem ?
I tried for hours, but my search was invain till now.
thanks a lot so far,

greetings Werner

Hi, after upgrading you need to go to User and approve all images and categories as seems like between your versions new fields were added - approve (authorize). After authorizing all images and categories, there should not be such problem.

Hallo Jan,

your last advice was not successful - I fear, because I made a mistake by upgrading to phg 2.7.2:
I first cancelled the old installation, then I installed the new one.
Now I can see my old categories and my pics, but I can´t reach them with the new version, they are accessible by alternative text fields. I fear, i have to load up new categories and the pictures again, or is there any way without this detour ?
Nevertheless I´m interested in an advive, why my old categories are present in those yellow alternative texts ?
Thank you for your answer. Beside this: I wanted to add a screenshot - is there a possibility ? I didn´t find out how ?

Hi, see above, you can add an image through e.g. the imageshack service.
