not listing sections and categories in user upload layout

I add sections and categories .But it is not listing at front end in user upload layout.
What could i do to display it ?

Hi, you need to set owner for the section and category - so if you set e.g. administrator, then administrator can see them in User Upload.

I have this problem too. I have some sections that have shown up fine in the upload menu and newer sections don't. There is no option to set ownership when you create a new section.

Why are some sections showing up and not others?

You can set it for the categories only. If category has some owner, such owner can see the category and of course the parent section.
