Feature request: embed photos via editor

When I found the Phoca Gallery Plugin I was hoping it did the same thing that the DocLink plugin does for DocMan. if you are not familiar with DocMan/DocLink...

DocMan is a document repository module for Joomla/Mambo. It is similar in concept to a photo gallery but geared towards documents like PDF, Word, etc. DocLink is a plugin that ads a "DocLink" link to the bottom of the standard Joomla editor that launches a modal box that allows you to choose from and link to your DocMan documents.

It would be nice if there was a way to embed Phoca Gallery images in to individual pages in this manner. The Phoca Gallery Plugin is nice but not as intuitive as it could be. If I want to embed a single picture, it is probably easier to grab the direct URL and use the editor's "insert image" function.

I know this is a big request (or maybe it already exists). Alternatively, is there a way to get Phoca Gallery photos to show up in the Media Manager when editing an article? The default setting is the "stories" folder and I cannot move up to navigate to the phocagallery folder.

Ok well I answered part of my own question... The default folder when adding images via the article editor can be changed in Global Configuration. That was easy.

However, having an "Add PhocaGallery Image" button would be great too!!!

I agree with you completely. I wish I was a programmer, I would love to help! Accessing them via the Media Manager is a fine enough solution for me - I'm glad I figured it out.

Once again, you are doing a great job with Phoca Gallery. Your work does not go unappreciated.

Does it possible at this time to insert phoca gallery picture in an article with a button like "add phoca gallery picture" ?
