It seems like you get no data from database, from com_category table ??? Try to see your database, table categories.

Which version of Phoca Gallery do you use?
Which version of Joomla 1.5 do you use?

If other component are working, there will be no problem with suffix 'jsm_joomla_", I think.

Please try to reinstall to RC4, I have made changes to support RC4

So, please try the older version 1.1.3 - I know, it seems confusedly. But there are some changes between 1.1.3 and 1.2.0 and I can recognize if the problem can be in this changes (some new SQL)

I don't get this error, so I cannot try it on my computers

No.

In 1.1.3 doesn't work slideshow under Joomla! 1.5 RC4. I have changed it in 1.2.0.

But 1.2.0 has new SQL query (displaying image next to category name in categories view) and this is the problem on your server. This SQL query doesn't work on some servers. I want to repair it in new version of Phoca Gallery.

Now you can install 1.2.0 (slideshow will be working), but you must change the SQL query

See: index.php?action=vthread&forum=1&topic=68

or wait for new version. Joomla is still in beta phase and something is still changing, so I do some changes in Phoca Gallery still.

Now I want to refactor categories behaviour... It takes time...

Hi,

I use Joomla 1.5 final and latest gallery 1.3.0beta.

In "Phoca Gallery Category List Layout" I get no category image (only the placeholder one) and the link on the category takes me to the home page instead of the category.

If I use the plugin, the category list gives correct links but also does not display a category image.

Best regards
Max
