language/en-GB
administrator/language/en-GB

just copy the language files into these folders (e.g. via FTP)

Hi,
i copied the files es-ES and de-DE to com_phocagallery/language

My Joomla standard language is es-ES.

However, the phocagallery continues in English. What I have to to to change to Spanish?

Second question, Phocagallery works with joomfish (switching the language according to the joomfish selection)?

Joomfish - yes, just download the Joomfish files from download section

language - there is no com_phocagallery/language folder... you should copy the files into:

administrator/language/es-ES/ folder

Hi.

I have downloaded the Norwegian language files "nb-NO" for the guestbook.
First I tried to install it the usual way, but that gave me an error. Then I saw this Thread in the Forum where it says that I have to copy those files in the language Folders.

I have copied this "nb-NO" folder with the files "nb-NO.com_phocaguestbook.ini" and "nb-NO.com_phocaguestbook.menu.ini" into:
language/
administrator/language/
So now there is both a folder called "en-GB" and "nb-NO" in the language folders.

I have also tried to copy the files "nb-NO.com_phocaguestbook.ini" and "nb-NO.com_phocaguestbook.menu.ini" into the "en-GB" folder. But that did not help.

But I still dont get Norwegian in the guestbook. It should be Norwegian word for "Title", "Name", "Content", "Image Verification", "Submit" and "Reset" I suppose? But it is not.

I Trashed the files "en-GB.com_phocaguestbook.ini" and "en-GB.com_phocaguestbook.menu.ini" in the" en-GB" folders, but that did not help. (These are the Default instalation language files I suppose?). I did put these files back into the en-GB" folders.

Kind Regards

I guess you turned the default website language to Norwegian (or you use some translator, so that Joomla knows it has to take the Norwegian files?)
Please ask your support questions in the forums and not via PM - I delete those PM's
Backup before you do any major change to your website (and test first)

Hi caro84g

I have not turned the default website language to Norwegian, so that is probably the problem. I will find the Norwegian language files and try that. I will come back if that wont fix the problem. :|
Thanks!

Hi, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/46-transl ... -in-joomla
copying the files and enabling the language in Joomla! language manager should work.
