Length of "Title" in Guesbookview.

Hi,

Is there a way to extend the maximum characters of the "Title" in Guestbook view?
Somehow it seems to be limited to 40 charachters, then it is cut off with ...

Why is it then "cut off" after 40 characters in the Component guestbook view?
In the header of the guestbook entry's, I get the full name, then after the ":" the title...which is cut off after 40 characters...

Hi, can I see where this occurs, there are limits for table width, maybe the title cannot be displayed in the widht?

Hi, sorry, now I see it, there is a protection in the code, it is obsolete and will be changed in the next version, for now you can change it:

in:
components\com_phocaguestbook\views\phocaguestbook\tmpl\default.php

line 140:
FROM:
$msgpg .= PhocaguestbookHelper::wordDelete($values->title,40,'...');
TO:
$msgpg .= PhocaguestbookHelper::wordDelete($values->title,200,'...');

This was obsolete protection against overflow the heading.

Thanks man - that did the trick !!

Also...a little request...
You see I am using the guestbook to collect signatures for this petition/cause.

What do you think about adding a few more fields to the entry form?
Like Country, Occupation, or even customizable.... a couple of fields that the user
can decide what text to use, and if they show or not.

And if there was a way to display in the front end how many guest book entries you have,
it would be great.
Maybe that could be a feature for your "Latest Entries" module. To show "10 of 245 entries"
in the top of the module...

Just some ideas.
