User Upload - Admin Authorization not working

Hi

After installing 1.3.0 stable i did some tests, i must say it's working almost perfectly, Thank you.

Some Problems i have:

1. I would like to Authorize the Files which are uploaded be the users, but somehow this is not working, in the settings i set the Auth. to Yes.
2. When un authorizing a file, users are still able to download it

Is there still something missing or am i doing something wrong?

Please let me know exacty in which view this happen, maybe there is some bug while loading the files. (approved is maybe missed in the sql)

EDIT: I see it now, there is a bug in name of parameter:

in config.xml - enable_userfile_approve should be rename to enable_user_upload_approve

I will fix it in next version.

Hi

I tried your solution and it's working, but what's still not so good is that the file in now "not authorized" but it is published, i think the file should be published only after authorization.

Hi, publishing and approving (authorizing) are two different functions

Authorizing can only administrator work with but
Publishing can administrator but user work it.

User can publish or unpublish images. To do it so, they must see the images in the front. So this means the published is displayed for owner of images and he/she can decide if this image will be published or unpublished What he/she cannot decide is if it will be authorized or not. Phoca Gallery doesn't display unauthorized images, so if you will upload an image (as frontend user) and the image will be published but not authorize you need to wait until administrator will approve it. After he/she approve it, then you can decide e.g., for now I want the image will be not displayed for public (published/unpublished)

I think you misunderstood me, i was asking about PD and not PG.

What i meant is when user A is uploading a file, i don't want that all other user will be able to download it was reviewed by the admin, at this time, all file are published

Hi, sorry about the misunderstanding.

In Phoca Download it works the same way. If user upload and image and you set it will be not approved, then it is unauthorized and not displayed until administrator will authorize it.


So if user A upload a file, he can see it in UCP but all others cannot download it until it will be reviewed (if this is set in parameters, you can set that the file will be authorized directly after upload)
