Manage space and quota

Hello
I have given for each users a quota of 150Mb for there galleries

So I take an exemple

The user upload this file _de10028_dxo.jpg , 1920*1920 1471.18 Mb

So Phoca gallery , create in thumbs folder 3 files

phoca_thumb_l__de10028_dxo.jpg 1920*1920, 298,45
phoca_thumb_m__de10028_dxo.jpg 256*192, 9,77
phoca_thumb_s__de10028_dxo.jpg 100*100, 3,63

What it is used to calculate the quota for the user , Original file or Orginal + thumbs ?

For this user first folder is 170 Mb and thumbs folder is 54 Mb. So 1rst folder is already greated than the quota , how the user have exceeded the quota ?

Is it possible to reduce the space occupied by the original file directly by phoca gallery ?

Hi, as written in the description of the parameter, only original images are counted into the quota. It does not matter where the images are stored but if they are uploaded by user and used by him/her. Then all images which are assigned to user are countent into quota.

What do you mean with reducing the space of original images? The only way is to not allow to upload large images.
