ordering categories by date

I made a list of categories and want them to order by date. This doesn't work good. The system does first order by head categorie and then then by categorie. How can I solve this ?

Hi, categories can have a tree, this is why it is not easy to order them. So they are ordered by ordering with accepting whole tree structure.

But you can change it in Options:



of course, the tree will be still accepted.

Thanks for your reaction. I tried this but it doesn't help. The tree structure is the problem.
