Error while saving license

I just updated to version 1.2.2 of the Download component, from 1.2.0. I did this by copying all of the admin folders up to my server, and it all seemed to go OK. I didn't replace any of the front end folders.

But now ...

I'm getting an error reported whenever I save or edit a file in the backend. When it goes back to the list of files, there's a warning at the top of the list - "Error while saving license", and it doesn't save any of my amendments.

I'm not using any licenses, so I don't know what I've done wrong. It's just started happening, so it must be to do with upgrading to 1.2.2

What do you think is the problem ... and the solution?

OK, I sorted it. I didn't realise that the new version has some database changes as well. So I used the "FTP install" routine to complete the upgrade and now it works OK.
