Phoca Guestbook and Internet Explorer 8

Hi there

I have a strange problem. I'm using Joomla 1.5.14 and the latest Phoca Guestbook component. In FF and Safari, everything works fine but in Internet Explorer 8 a strange phenomenon appears.

All Carrige Returns in a message are removed before safing and the message is safed as a long, long string.

Does this happens to anyone else?

Hi, yes, in Phoca guestbook latest entries - some tags are removed because of possible problems in modules, you can see the code and remove the tag removing protection there.

Today I had the chance to test with another computer from a friend of mine:

XP / IE 7: no problem
XP / IE 8: no problem
Vista / IE 7: no problem
Vista / IE 8: no problem

So I gather, that my problem is actually a problem of that specific machine.

I don't understand your answer, where do I remove the protection?
