email problems

Hello,

I have set up phoca guestbook to send me a copy of the item to review before posting - and I filled out a test message and still have not received any email after 20 minutes and multiple refreshes. How long is the delay supposed to be? (I tested the sites ability to send emails and that works fine... responds in less than 3 min)

Also, once the email arrives - do I have to go to the admin and publish the item from there - or can I do it from the email?

Hi, try to test it e.g. with smtp settings in your global configuratin, maybe you should see some error log on your server, maybe there will be some error ...

Thanks for the response. I did test the smtp settings and they work. also I am able to send email from the site - but I am not getting the emails to review items??

I did not see any place to check errors? is there an error log other than logs/error.php ?
