Hi,
I've tried to upload and install the guestbook in J! 1.5.10 with the following file "com_phocaguestbook_v1.3.2.zip".
After a while this massage occours:
JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths
Unable to create destination
Es kann kein Installationspaket gefunden werden!
I am also using phoca gallery and it's working fine.
What can I do?
Thanks for your help

Hi, try to check your permissions on your server, try to check if the ftp layer is enabled on your server

Re: Path not in open_basedir paths
Hi Jan,
which folders need full permission? There is no way to set the root folder on 777.
there is also no setting to enable the ftp layer on my server.
My server is on world4you
What can I do next.
Thanks a lot

Re: Path not in open_basedir paths
Hi, in fact I don't know
I am using FTP layer so I don't care about permissions
so I think
tmp folder
components folder
language folder
administrator/components folder
administrator/language folder
but if you set them to 777, you should see some security information and maybe set it back after installation.
