I have just installed the Phoca guestbook on Joomla 1.5.1.

Everything works fine until I try to submit a message. Then I get this:
Fatal error: Base directory /home/public_html/components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/library/HTMLPurifier/Definitio nCache/Serializer does not exist, please create or change using %Cache.SerializerPath in /home/public_html/components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/library/HTMLPurifier/Definitio nCache/Serializer.php on line 138

Is this a known problem and does someone have a solution?

Sorry, It's not live yet.
But it doesn't seem to matter what I write. If I write test in Subject and test in content i still get a white page with the mentioned error message, after clicking submit.

Thanks for looking into this.

Try to upgrade to 1.

Try to upgrade to 1.3.0 (I have added the folders to to tree:

/DefinitionCache/Serialize
...
)

If it not helps, we must still wait for new Joomla! with fixed JRequest Clean Method...
