Newbee questions ( HELP!)

Hi I'm a newbee and just installed phoca what is a great component. I want to know 2 things:

1e - how I can make the VM Categories module linked with the Gallery. I have installed the VM module and looke good but the categories from VM are not linked to the Gallery.


2e - I have made it posible for users to upload there photos but.....when they want to create an category it seems that the resent category is being change by the new one. So they only can change the name of the category instate of create a new one.

Can you help me with this pls.
