Include an URL by browsing to phoca category or image folder

I write articles in which I sometimes want to include a link to a phoca photo category. What is the fastest way to retrieve the url without having to publish the gallery first? In the old Joomla version, 2.5, I was able to create a link by browsing to the folder holding the pictures but that doesn't seem to be possible anymore. The only thing I'm able to include and browse to are articles and pictures. Is there something I'm missing that needs to be installed? I already installed JCE.

Hi, not sure what you exactly mean with "browsing to the folder holding the pictures"? Did you uses some plugin for this?

I have installerd Phoca photo gallery, I organize my categories and upload my pictures with it. In some of the articles I write I want to include a link to a phoca category so that you'll see all the images in that particular category. In the old version of Joomla I was able to browse to the category or map holding the pictures and create a link like that. With the new version that doesn't seem possible anymore. If I want to include a link to a category now I need to figur out what the exact URL is of that category. The fastest way now is to make a new menu item, publish it, copy the link and depublish the menu item. There must be a faster way to do that.

Hi, not sure, which way you did it in the past and now but there should not be any changes regarding links? Did you create them per plugin or did you add some absolute URLs
