Problem 'root' subcategorie folder ignored in front upload

Hi.

I have multiple user wich can upload in front.

The administrator define the main categorie (the year : 2014) with folder 2014 and the 1st level of sub categorie 2014/a in folder 2014/a, 2014/b in folder 2014/b, etc...
User A can upload to subcategorie 2014/a, user B in 2014/b, etc...

The problem is that all the pictures for all users are uploaded in folder of the main categorie '2014'.
The folder defined in root subcategorie for each user are ignored.
So i have multiple file with same name wich are not uploaded.
Why phocagallery ignore the folder of each root subcategories ?
I think it should be interesting to apply the folder defined in subcategorie at upload,
for me the best should be with an option to create automaticaly subfolder with catid of the new subcategorie created by members.
To have all picture in only 1 directory is a big problem.
Actualy i have to modify each folder in category created by each member, before he upload picture files.

Hi, where the user uploads the images, in UCP or in category view? The folder of user is used when uploading in UCP

Hi Jan.

It's on catégorie view.

All my members create their sub-categorie in a unique main catégorie (which change eavery year, linked to a sport season).
Actually the name off the categorie is 2015 and the folder 2015 of course..

It's this my problème, all members make a lot of subcategorie (more then 2 events in a week end) and all pictures are in the folder of main categorie (here 2015) and upload 100 to 200 pictures for an event (with a global sum of ~10000 pictures for 1 year).
So it's inevitably happens that several images have the same file name...
...this is a great problem for me.
