For a long time I run a website based school joomla CMS. As a gallery installed at the beginning of Phocagalery. Currently, there are about 500 galleries. When I crossed the magic number started showing up a problem with the inability to manually change the display order of sub-categories and categories in the newly created, which previously was not a problem. Currently, when I add a new category or subcategory created it as usual and recorded as the last and I can not manually change and save it in the beginning, so that was correct numbering and to show in the correct order, eg. Hi, I see the errors, but really cannot say what is wrong there - "MySQL server has gone away" can be a memory problem but it is hard to detect as it comes from jos_languages and jos_extensions tables - I have no clue what calls the sql queries so really no idea why there is such problem - the error message can be memory problem but this is not 100% so maybe server provider can say more (if he/she has some debug tools)

Ordering - you should paste only numbers which are higher as 0 - means starting with 1 and if you add them manually, you should not duplicate them

in the meantime, I expanded disk surfac hosting provider, because actually slowly approaching the end of free disk space. Unfortunately it did not help, the problems have not disappeared. Continue to occur.

Actually - store for the server was too little. Increased the disk space on the hosting, but unfortunately, the problems have not disappeared. He made diagnostics and optimization of database, and more. Errors still appear at work on the back side.
Maybe you have some ideas of what to do.
Working on jommli phoca module is not enough that pop up errors, it works very, very slowly.

Hi, hmm, some cache issue? Normally the cache is working for frontend in Joomla!, but maybe some specific cache extension?

e.g. in Phoca Gallery - see administration - info view and check if all recommended settings are set

The problem still exists. Unfortunately, the forum will not help solve the problem. And does anyone have access to the creators of this component. Maybe they can handle anything will help.
