Download uploaded Files

Hi folks!
First of all: Thanks for the awesome joomla plugin Phoca Download.

Now to my problem:
For my site i would like to create a frontend up/download where users can login and upload their files and then download them again(something like Dropbox or skydrive).
The upload works fine but in the upload component I can't download the uploaded files. The uploaded files also don't appear in the download component.
Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible at all to download uploaded files?

I'm running Joomla! 3.1.5 at the moment on my local machine with xampp.

Sorry 4 the late reply. Yes all files are approved and published. I have also tried to select the upload and the download category on the download page.
Still doesn't work

Do you get any errors there when you enable php error reporting ( https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... rs-on-site ) and debug mode in Joomla! administration.

No, I don't get any errors but it is possible that i oversaw them, since I'm not familiar with debug mode.
However I managed to download an Uploaded file on the download site. But I first had to adjust the permissions and the category(from upload to download).
Is it possible that I can set default permissions and a default category?

I meant if it is possible to set default permissions of every new uploaded file and the category in which it is being uploaded.
So for example on a new uploaded File, the User xy automatically has read and write permissions, and the file is uploaded in the "Download" category
I hope that clarifyies it

Hi, for now there is no such feature, so this needs to be customized in the code. I think, there were some guides regarding this in the forum
