Problem with Phoca Gallery 4.0.2 on Joomla 3.1

Hello Phoca Fans,

I have problems with Phoca Gallery (PG) 4.0.2 on a Joomla 3.1 installation.
I'm not able to create Thumbnails with PG 4.0.2.
Every Time PG 4.0.2 hangs and stop creating the last 1 or 2 images.
I tried to change the permissions.
I created the folder by using PG.
After I uploaded the images I want to create the thumbnails.
Several Thumbnails are created, then it stops creating Thumbnails.
When I click on Stop Thumbnail Generation, nothing happens, and finally I must retype the URL of the backend from the website.
I changed the folder permissions to 777 (I don’t like this, but I follow your instructions to solve this problem).
I also reinstall PG, I Enable the Java Upload version. The single upload does work without problems.

I the somebody who can help me to solve this issue?

When I upload the second single image, the same problem occurs!!
The thumbnail creation failes!
But when I open the album I see 2 photo's.
When I go back to view the images, i'm not able to view the recent uploaded images.

Hi, try to recheck the GD and PHP settings on your server, try to see the errorLog, try to upload some small image (if this is not a memory problem) and try to see other similar posts in this forum.

Thanks for your help! I made de changes in the PHP.ini file and the problem is solved!
Everything works correctly! Thanks!
