captcha doesn't stop unwanted messages

can you please explain why on :

it is full of unwanted messages ?

why doesn't captcha stop these robots ? or are people writing texts manually so they also can add captcha ?

don't you have something testing for "hot words" and "repetitive letters..;" ? in the past i had such tool for "contact us" which tested all fields contents

on wordpress there is a free akismet. is there something similar for joomla and should it help ?
do you have something else than captcha like the "50+20=?" of this forum ?

hallo Jan,
when i go to akismet to have a free key i see only wordpress.
can you please detail what to do for joomla (key, joomla akismet extension) ?
by the way i have also a site labrophotography based on wordpress and akismet.
it is a multidomain with the main marclabro on which i install joomla. the goal is paying a single hosting on ovh
i suppose it is better to get a second free key and not try to use the same one ?

Hi, you just get the key and will set some spcific options like url, etc. on akismet
