problems with image size

Hi there, I have joomla 1.5 and phoca gallery 2.8.

when adding images to the gallery, I'm supposed to use these sizes: "Max. size: 3.00 MB, Maximum Resolution: 3072 x 2304 px"

i have an image in 1,7 MB and with: 3072 * 1100 px.

This should be shown quite huge, kind of like filling the whole screen right?

But it comes out quite small. How can I get the image as big as possible (I'm not talking about the thumbnails, but the image within the gallery)

Hi, you can set the size i parameters, you can define it there and you can define if the image will be crop or not, the same with jpg quality - after changing parameters, you need to recreate thumbnails.
