I'm using Joomla 2.5.4 and Phoca gallery 3.2.0. I have one photo album with 16 subcategories. I want to show all the subcategories when people click on the menu item for this photo album. To do this I created a category and added the 16 subcatergories with pictures, there are no pictures in the main category.
I have 2 problems.
1. When I click on the menu item I get to see all my categories, not just the 16 subcategories.
2. If I look at the order of the categories they are sorted top to bottom instead of left to right.
Where can I change these settings so that I only see the 16 subcategories and not the others and the order of the categories is from left to right and not top to bottom?

2) you can change to different views (or modify it directly in code - components/com_phocagallery/views/categories/tmpl/ ...
1) check the settings, to display subcategories too.

I'm not much of a code person so changing code only works if I know what and where to change it
In the mean time I got the view back to subcategories only but I still haven't found where I can change the view order of the categories. If I play around with the ordernumbers in the back end category view I can trick it to show the subcategories left to right but that's just a workaround. There has got to be a simple setting that allows me to display my subcategories from left to right.
