Joomla's standard captcha

As of Joomla 2.5.x, there is a possibility to choose a default captcha in the global configuration, which will be automatically displayed e.g. in the contact forms and the registration forms.

I dont find that installed captcha plugin to choose in the guestbooks options, while it is selectable in global configuration, in the options of the user manager or in the options for contacts. Is there anything else I should do to be able to select this captcha plugin with the guestbook? Or is this rather something to be placed on a wishlist? And could I make a simple workaround for now - e.g. to manually overwrite the parameters of the guestbook in the extension table - to get this working for now?

Hi, for now I don't have any experiences with Joomla's standard captcha - in Phoca Guestbook there are 4 different captchas, and the best method is to allways load other method, so the robot gets harder work, see:
