Category View ?

Hi out there,

does anybody know how to change the components/com_phocagallery/views/category/tmpl/default.php ... so that in category view there are not shown the subcategories but the maincategories ?

Do explain what I mean take a look on the image below:


I want to show first the categories named 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 up to 2012.
when clicking on one of those categories the subcategories should be shown.

Any idea welcome.

PS: In JoomGallery there are first shown the categories, then the subcategories and last but not least the pictures within the subcategory. would be great this could be done in phocagallery!

You don't need to change anything there!
Go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Categories View Settings -->
Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=Yes
Save & Close

Ich steig hier mal kurz ein - wie zum Henker bekomme ich es hin, dass Subcategories genauso angezeigt werden wie die übergeordneten Hauptkategorien?

Es ist direkt verlinkt. Ich habe bereits beides versucht. Ich habe bereits so viel eingestellt aber ich schaffs ned. Werd mir am WE mal die Anleitung ganz genau durchlesen - vllt. hilft es ja.

Man soll kein Link zu Categories View erzeugen. Man soll eine Hauptkategorie machen, z.b. als "Galerie" genannt und unter dieser Kategorie alle andere Kategorien als Subkategorien dazugeben. Dann nur ein Link zu Kategorie "Hauptkategorie" erstellen. (So es kein Categories View gezeigt wird)
