Problems with Frontend uploading

Hi,
I am unable to upload from the frontend. Backend uploading (multiple or single) works fine.

If I upload a single photo, I get "error while saving item". The file actually does get uploaded and I can view it with my ftp client from the server.

If I do a multiple upload I get " COM_PHOCAGALERY_ERROR: Unable to upload file" after each individual file upload. The file does get uploaded, however using my FTP client and viewer it seems that only the top third of the photo is there.

I have tried FTP mode on and off. I have tried small images that should be under my server limits.

Any idea's?

Hi, try to recheck your Joomla! installation, if it was correctly installed.
