Not a valid image

Hi,i have a problem with phocagallery 3.1.4/5 on joomla 1.7.When i upload an image(jpg,png etc...) i have a problem "Not a valid image". the problem is occurring from a few days in this part because everything worked fine the first.thanks for answers..


p.s.I'm italian. i'm sorry for my english.XD

Hmmm, try to check if your images are not corrupted and if your GD library on the server is OK

I have read the forums high and low for the last 4 hours - executed permission changes, reinstalled and am banging my head on the wall!

I keep getting "Not a valid image"
the images are valid and about 10k each ….

I can't upload! Please assist!

Hi, really no idea what can be wrong, did you test different images with different formats - e.g. jpg, png, gif?

These are images I saved from photoshop which are verified and usable JPGs, I can upload them via FTP or Joomla explorer or media manager but not in PhocaGallery - your help would be appreciated!

Hi, do we speak about upload or add ... uploading is just moving it to server, adding means thumbnails will be created?

I guess, i'm uploading and adding an image, expecting the thumbnail to be created…

This message is displayed in case:

- upload was not able get information by php function:getimagesize

Is your server able to run this function without any problems?

Surely there has to be a solution for this, I notice in the forums and online this issue is discussed for years now… it can't be a problem with my images because they work… !!!!

Hi, please let me know similar posts in this forum, so I can take a look at it, maybe there is some solution
