Changing plugin functionality

Hi Jan,

I would like to tweak the gallery plugin to offer a direct download of the full size image, rather than a detail window. So when an image from the gallery is inserted into an article using the plugin (or button) the image links to the direct download.

I'm happy editing the plugin code to do this, but haven't a clue whereabouts in the php flie to start looking. Any chance you could give me an idea where to start, please?
