Problem installing RSForm on Joomla 1.6.6

Hi,

I am having problem installing com_phocagallery_v2.7.6 / com_phocagallery_v2.8.0 on Joomla 1.6.6

I am getting many different errors like can't move files, error building admin menu and sometimes it doesn't install, the page refreshed with blank(nothing on the page).

I tried to install a fresh copy of Joomla 1.6.6 in my localhost to see if there's any other third party installed causing the problem but still not able to install.

There are times that the component installed successfully but I can't find the component on the menu or if the component is there, if I clicked on one of the links, I only get "Fatal error: Cannot make static method JLoader::import() non static in class PhocaGalleryLoader"

or maybe I'm using a version of Phoca Gallery that is not compatible with Joomla 1.6.6?

Hi, you should update your Joomla! to 1.7.x and use the latest Phoca Gallery 3.1.1
