After installing, the module does not show correctly

Using Joomla 1.7

After installing the phoca gallery 3.2, the module shows on a white page without joomla meny or headers.
I unpublished the gallery and then put it in trash.
then I installed it again, successfully, but now it does not show amongs the modules at all.
I unpublished again and put it in trash, removed the directory manually using FTP
Installed again, but cannot see it among modules at all.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi, did you enable debug mode and php error reporting to see if there is no database or php error:
