Changing folder location and files/folders with spaces

Hi All

I am brand new to Phoca and the modules, but Phoca seemed to do exactly what i wanted it to do, but i have come up with a couple of problems/questions.


1) Is it posdsible to change the folder location from Phocadownload to something else of my choice?

2) Would it be possible to allow the files and folders to have spaces in the names? The files/folders I will be using need to have spaces in them.


EDIT:

4) I can select a file to upload from the admin backend (Files, new file, click 'select filename') , it uploads OK, but when I then click the file i just uploaded, nothing happens. I have to right click it and select 'copy' then back arrow a couple of times to get to the previous menu, then paste the name in.

Once I have done that it all seems to work.


I am running Joomla 1.7 if that makes a difference

Hi,

1) yes in Options
2) Titles can include spaces, files and folders: this is problematic mostly because of OS settings on the server
3) If you have uploaded a file, then you need to add it to the system - just create a file item and add the uploaded file to this item
