Fixed category image

Hi,

I am loving this component and all is working well, even the frontend uploading

I would like to give my categories the same images but have only so far been able to give them a random image from inside the category. I can see in the category set up where there is a dropdown that says 'Image:select image' but there are no images in the dropdown list. I assume I need to upload an image somewhere to populate the dropdown but don't know where.

**EDIT** OK, I found it...it has to go into the images/stories folder

OK, that is not what I was looking for afterall. I want to show a image instead of a category folder image. I can see how to show an image from inside the folder but how do I show a single, chosen image?

So, if I understand correctly, the category image can be fixed BUT only by using an image from within the category?

Is it possible to set the category image (on the 'folder') that is NOT an image within the category?

Well, here's something interesting...

If I have an image published but not authorised it shows as a category folder image but does not show inside the category itself. This goes someway to fixing my problem.

Hi, yes, this behaviour is made intentionally so the images not listed in category can be displayed as category folder (if someone needs to have not listed category image in image list), see:
