Replace thumbnail ?

Hi there,

If the original picture is i.e. 1500px x 400px the generated thumbnail of 50px x 50px is right from the middle of the picture.
I want to upload a new thumbail of 50 x 50 px however not from the middle section of the original picture by say from a different section.

Will Phoca Gallery recognize the new thumbail and display it in de gallery on the right side ?

Hi, yes, if you will use the cut function, then the image will be cut in the middle, there is no option to set it in other place except this will be customized in the code or you will do the thumbnails on your PC and will copy such thumbnail to your server.

So your saying that I can replace the old thumbnail with a new one of the same size and name?
Meaning, deleting the old one first and uploading the newly prepared one?
