disableling Background

i want to see about disableling "phocagallery-box-file" background under "Category View Settings (List of Images)" Background color. its defaulting to white. and when i try and save it as blank it goes back to white or some othercolor other than blank. where can i find this setting so that i can fix this?

Hallo I have the same problem
if I change "phocagallery-box-file" I always get the color White
if I change the background in the Control Panel Phoca Gallery I always get the white

There are other items to be changed?

Did you use transparent in parameters?

I've been wrestling with this as well. I've tried using the color code of my site, transparent, even looked for a hard coded setting in css. Have searched the forum and all attempts to change this continue to return a white background behind my description in my category page. I also want to center align the description text and change font color to white, haven't been able to find that either.

UPDATE: got it to work by stating overriding styles in the hard code at components/com_phocagallery/assets/phocagallery.css
