Captcha problem with IE works with FF and Chrome

Post by keet1 »

Hi,

At my site I have a validation problem with captcha.
After a couple of tests I found out that captcha works with Firefox and Chrome, but it doesn's work with IE.
Ik have IE 9 installed, I tried to solve this with placing <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" /> in index.php, but this isn't the solution.

To solve this I tried joomlaxi captcha, but joomlaxi has almost the same problem.
After entering the validation code joomlaxi returns back to phoca guestbook and shows the message that there is no message written in the guestbook inputfield.

It looks like it is a browser issue with IE, a problem with phocaguestbook and sessions when using IE.
Does anyone know a solution for this problem?

I have phoca guestbok 1.4.4 installed.

Kind regards,

Keet1

Jan,

I got the same problem only it looks like it's not Captcha related. Even when I turn of Captcha is keeps saying no content.
Any more Ideas?

Hi, maybe try to check your mootools, maybe it must be updated to work with tinymce, or try to test disable tinymce editor, if this will work (if yes, then the mootools must be upgraded)
