Joomla 1.6 login redirect overrides phoca redirect

My site uses Joomla 1.6.3 and Phoca Download 2.0.0 RC2

Files with 'registered' access redirect the user to our login page, and after login they are redirected back to the download page. Great. However, if I configure Joomla redirect after login, this overrides the Phoca redirect. Is there any way that this can be avoided?

I would like to configure a non-default redirect in Joomla, yet retain the functionality of Phoca Download, taking a guest to the login page, then back to the download page.

Any ideas?

Hi, for now I don't have any solution for this if the redirect is modified, it is modified for Phoca Download too, the redirect is managed by Joomla!
