phocagallery with simplecaddy problem

If no body login to the site in public access, the phocagallery with simplecaddy working perfectly. when user login to the site, the hightligh box(popup window) disappeared, only display image and simple caddy(add to cart). please see the screen shot image down the bottom.

Here is the error message i got from web development tool:
$(document.body).adopt is not a function

and this error is from mysite.com/media/system/js/modal.js on line112

Hi, then it seems, while some user is logged in, some more javascript is loaded on the site, which then produces some javascript error, but what exactly it can be, really no idea
