Changing default thumbnails size - question

Hi. My problem is that I want to change the default size of thumbnails. I read the following :

Set the new sizes in the global settings = Components » Phocagallery » Control Panel (Gallery v1.8. » [parameters] button.
small image is displayed in category list layout (categories view)
medium image is displayed in category layout (category view)
large image is displayed when you click on the medium image

but I'd like to have it the following way :
[*]medium image -> categories view [220x180]
[*]small image -> categories view [120x100]

What is strange, I managed to do so once but then I changed the config and couldn't figure out what it used to be...
Please help, greetings


EDIT: I figured out a workaround assignign 120x100 to medium size and 220x180 to small size but I've got a feeling it can be done simpler way and it's just me not knowing how... any help ?

Hi, after every changing of size parameters, you need to recreate the thumbnails again.
