Can't see phoca in menu

Post by mmponline »

I've installed the newest Joomla 1.6 gallery (com_phocagallery_v3.0.0_rc5.zip) on my Joomla 1.6 interface.
When I log in, I'm supposed to find the link to the phoca installation under the Components dropdonw menu, but there is none.

The only way I can access the gallery, is by typing the link manually
(http://safarivanliefde.co.za/administra ... ocagallery)

How can I get this l9ink to show up in the Joomla installation? The module seems to work 100% except fot this link nowhere to be found.

Thanks Jan

I ran the query to change the menu items to active and now everything is fine. For novices, this bug should be fixed as most would not know how to run the query in PHPmyAdmin. It seems to be something that was overlooked in the development of the module to sctivate the menus.

Thanks again for your prompt reply and help.

Ok, the admin menus are created by Joomla! but it is complicated (there was some problem wich was solved but not worked by update, etc. etc - not really easy :-) )
