Image Ordering Not Working For Me

I'm trying to order my photos in the order that they were taken but no matter what option I choose, as per below, they remain in the order that I uploaded them. Am I missing something?

Ordering Ascending
Ordering Descending
Title Ascending
Title Descending
Date Ascending
Date Descending
Id Ascending
Id Descending

Joomla 1.6
Phoca Gallery 3.0.0 RC4

Hi, which parameter did you change, did you change the right parameter - image ordering (there are different similar parameters - change the ordering of categories, of images displayed as folder icon, etc.)

I changed it under the General Settings and it seems to work when I choose Title Ascending. Not sure if that's the correct place but it works...
