I have install this version "com_phocagallery_v2.7.8.zip", when I use the button "CHECK FOR UPDATE" I get this information.

Extension: Phoca Gallery

Current version: 2.7.7 3.0.0 RC5

Your version: 2.7.5

Current version download
And still this file "com_phocagallery_v2.7.8.zip".

Also when I tray the use the menu gallery, I get this massage
404 - Component not found.

Hi, the latest Phoca Gallery Joomla! 1.5 version is 2.7.8

In the 2.7.8 package you should get the right version: <version>2.7.8</version>

So install the latest Phoca Gallery package and then recreate menu link to Phoca Gallery in menu maneger.

I Need to use ftp installation, and when the installation is finish, I get on >Phoca Gallery Control Panel >Info "Version
2.7.5"

On >Phoca Gallery Control Panel >Info >Check for update

Your version: 2.7.5

Hi, the ftp version was obsolete, download it now.

Hi, seems like the component was not correctly installed.

Did you properly installed the component, try to see:

Or try to do it the other way:
