attaching PG-Downloads to components (contact, events)

Post by seagoal2345 »

Hi,
has anybody made experience or have ideas, how to attach files of PG to components?

I think, for an event-detail-view or a contact-profil as download-list of files - or may be only as notification, that there is something more ...?

Thanks for hints,

PG 2.0.0 RC2, J!1.6.1
regards, J.

hi Jan,
Thank you for your reply,
sorry - not PG, PD! That means Phoca Download (I use PG too ...)

I would like to have a list of uploaded stuff for
# contacts and
# events (f.e. EventList)

For example:

Someone is specialist for Joomla and is loading up documents about that, his "hobbyhorse", and
I would like to see those documentlinks, see a list, in his J!-contactdetail-view
- so the uploads are attached to the contact-component.

And there is an event about Joomla where I would like to list some uploaded documents from specialists too - documents uploaded by PD, attached to EventList.

Better description?

Is there already anyone, who realised something like that?

regards, J.

Hi, I think not, the Phoca Download frontend upload feature is waiting for improvements, but I think such function you are describing must be somehow customized :-(
