How to setup the frontend upload.

Post by Ivan27 »

Hi.

Im having problem with setting up the front end upload to galleries.

i followed this instruction https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ser-upload with setting the upload maximum size of a file but that didnt work. it still is max 3 mb. and thats not big. I want unlimited mb.

And isnt there a function in the backend where you could predefine what folder the front end user may upload to, so the frontend user only could see these on upload control panel.

I have tried the setting in the parameters but nothing worked. A can get the upload panel up and running and can also upload pictures, but that only if the frontend user makes a main category and subcategories. And that i wont allow for the frontend user. They have to upload to the folders i make as a administrator in the backend. Can any one help me with this problem. It would be a great help if at could get this up and running the way i want to.

Regards.

Hi, you can make the categories in administration and set the users will be not able to create subcategories, so then they will be able to add images only into by you created categories.

For setting the upload max size, see:
