Joola 1.6 + PhocaGallery + Cooliris = Blank site

I have cleanly installed Joomla 1.6 twice and am running into the exact same problem. So I'd thought maybe someone here might have a clue as to what I can do to fix it or work around it. The problem is as follows:

I have installed Phoca Gallery 3.0 rc 4 and created various categories in the Phoca Gallery control panel. I imported a good number of images and subcategories by using the Multiple Add feature. I had uploaded the images to a few folders under images/phocagallery, in case you were wondering. The import process was painless. All of my photos imported correctly. I then went to Categories, and checked all of the categories and clicked on the CoolIris button. That was very easy. Next I created the crossdomain.xml file at the root of my site. Piece of cake! And then I added a menu item of type PhocaGallery/CoolIris 3d Wall. Then I go to preview my site and....

....its completely blank. Yes, just a blank page.

So I go check the logs and I see this message:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function phocagalleryBuildRoute() in /path/to/my/html/root/includes/router.php on line 310, referer: http://dev.platypusmarine.com/

If I simply unpublish the Phoca Gallery/CoolIris 3D Wall menu item, the site returns. I have been using Phoca Gallery on a couple of other sites under Joomla 1.5 and I absolutely love it. I hope someone here can help me figure out the problem!

Hmm, so it sounds like Joomla 1.6, PhocaGallery, and CoolIris are not cooperating at this time? Here's my similar issue:

And I believe the CoolIris integration is one of the best parts of PhocaGallery.
